The Attic, is a one of a kind venue for UK Comedy Circuit Veterans and newcomers to the scene alike to show their comedy mettle. All you have to do, is come along and see some of the UK’s best stand up acts, at a great comedy club which showcases comedians from all over the country to bring you the best of the best all in one lively show at a historic venue.
Each night follows a trusted formula: One hysterical MC plus three amazing acts and a couple of hours of booze-soaked laughter. What happens in the Attic stays in the Attic!

We’re not only a great comedy venue, but a great show and all we want to do is to make you laugh. We’re not sure why. But we do! So if you’re caught out looking for something to do in the wee hours of the morning don’t worry! We’ve got you covered, we’ll be bringing all the best stand up, general comedy to you, every Saturday, And as we all know stand up is a great accompaniment to any night out whether you’re just wrapping up, or just starting!
Our fantastic venue, the beehive inn, is a beautiful pub in the heart of the old town, and on the heritage pub trail is a great place to kick back, relax and watch one of the best stand up comedy shows around on any given night.

So if you’re looking for a great way to spend some time, whether you’re just visiting the city for the night, or are looking for a good way to kick off your night out, check out one of our shows at the comedy attic, hosted by that guy, I mean our hilarious MC Rick Molland, a man who’s spent many years on the stand up circuit, and just gets what’s funny, curating a great selection of stand up acts from all around the country and very occasionally even the world all in one great venue.
