About The Event
Joe McTernan is one of Scotland's most reliably booked stand-up headliners — a working-class voice with a sharp eye for the absurd and a delivery sharpened by years of tight Scottish club rooms. The kind of comic who walks on knowing the room and walks off having owned it.
The Comedy Attic is the natural home for that. Hidden above The Beehive Inn — a 300-year-old pub in the heart of Edinburgh's Grassmarket — the Attic is a 65-seat venue with stone walls, a low ceiling, and nowhere to hide. Two hours of unfiltered live stand-up, every weekend.
Your host is Rick Molland, veteran of the Scottish comedy circuit and resident MC at the Attic. He warms the crowd, runs the bill, and keeps the night moving through the support slots before the headliner takes over.
