About The Event
Robin Grainger is one of Edinburgh's most in-demand stand-up headliners — a Scottish circuit comic whose audiences keep growing year on year. Based in the city he plays, with a set built across hundreds of nights in clubs, festivals, and bigger rooms every season, Grainger has earned the kind of reputation that fills a venue on his name alone.
The Comedy Attic is the obvious local home for that. Hidden above The Beehive Inn — a 300-year-old pub in the heart of Edinburgh's Grassmarket — the Attic is a 65-seat venue with stone walls, a low ceiling, and nowhere to hide. Two hours of unfiltered live stand-up, every weekend.
Your host is Rick Molland, veteran of the Scottish comedy circuit and resident MC at the Attic. He warms the crowd, runs the bill, and keeps the night moving through the support slots before the headliner takes over.
